Vietnam's map
I started learning physics in school 3 years ago and I was 10 years old when I won my first competition (photo 1). I actually started learning physics 2 years sooner than my school's requirement.
I was the youngest student at the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) 2007 in Chinese Taipei. In my opinion, biological age does not have much to do with intellectual age.
I think other teammates treat me with respect because although I'm young, I'm equally well-prepared as they are (photo 2). I'm not afraid of the fact that other students are older than me because I can communicate with many people and make them understand me.
I used to be away from home quite often, from which I have learned a lot. For the last 6 months, I have participated in different science Olympiads, competitions and qualifying-and-training camps. I was in Hong Kong, Macao and China. Last December I was in Chinese Taipei too.
This 39th IPhO is not my first big exam but my first big competition. I'm not nervous and want to win, but I know it will be very hard. I would try my best in the next year IPhO if I had a chance to be a contestant once again.
