Latest Update on Visa Application
The organizers are currently in the process of confirming visa application from delegation members participating in the upcoming IPhO 2008. Two new required fields have been added to our online registration system, "Issuing Post Name" and "Expected port of entry into Vietnam." We would like you to kindly fill in information for these new fields to facilitate our visa confirmation process with Vietnamese diplomatic offices.


In the event that there is no Vietnamese diplomatic mission available in your country, kindly file your visa application at a nearby Vietnamese diplomatic post in a neighboring country. We will only process visa application upon arrival into Vietnam under very exceptional circumstances. For visas applied at a point of entry, please fill out forms accordingly (available on IPhO 2008 website), provide recent passport-sized photographs and pay USD25/person for processing fee. Your application must be complete before arrival. A representative from our Committee will be present at the immigration checkpoint to assist you with the visa application process.
